    Why Homeschool Your Children?
    A growing number of families are making the choice to leave the school system or not enter at all. Any parent can homeschool their children, providing that they love their children and want to give them the best education possible. You do not need permission or need a degree or require a certificate of any kind.

    How Do You Homeschool?
    There are as many ways to homeschool as there are homeschooling families. Some families have a curriculum-based learning style, some choose child-led learning or unshcooling and some use a combination of approaches. There is no single correct way to homeschool. Each family will style of homeschooling which suits their child’s particular needs, personality , values and philosophy.

    Is It Legal To Homeschool In Ontario?
    Yes, homeschooling is legal in every part of Canada. The Ontario Education Act states in Section 21 <2> (a):

    “that a child is excused from compulsory attendance at (public) school if he or she is receiving satisfactory instruction at home or elsewhere.”
